Listen Up Korra Fans

Journal Entry: Tue Sep 11, 2012, 11:37 PM
Now this is new from wikipeidia, so take it for what you think it is, but I trust they have it right right now.  I looked into news about when Legend of Korra is comeing back, and I found out something exciting.  What I orginally thought was going to be two books to make two seasons is in reality two 26 episode seasons divided into two books a season.  That means Legend of Korra is going to have four books and about 52 total episodes.  Book two is coming out in 2013, and is called Spirit.  That's all I got so far.  I know that the books are all seperate stories and basically self-contained, only really haveing the character the same as a longer narative of their lives composing the whole series, or so I theorize.

This is where I got that en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lege… and I hope you find it interesting.  I'm looking forward to it all!

Is it Book Two yet?

AND HE WAS VOICED BY STEVEN JAY BLUM! Why did they kill him? I have loved almost every character I have ever heard Blum play. He can bring such depth to any character he plays. Like when he played Spike in Cowboy Beebop. I don't think Spike would have been as interesting if Blum hadn't played him. I love Korra too! I can't wait till the rest of it comes out, but I get the feeling that this is going to be a one book a year kind of thing, and OOOOOOOOH that is going to be painful.

Right!? I spent a while wondering who did the voice..I was like...MAN..he sounds so familiar! Then when I found out..I was so happy..they got a GREAT voice actor for the most bad ass person ever. Spike, in cowboy beebop, is one of my favorite anime characters of all time. (I just can't draw him. ;w; ) If they had someone else play Spike..I doubt..it would have been anywhere near interesting. :( They say a voice can't make a difference..that it is all based on story....but I don't think that's true. I can't wait for the rest to come out too...and..if it's one book a year...that will kill me.. D":

You have a point about the voices. There are two dubs of Ruroini Kenshin in english. One is Anime Works, and the other is from Bandai America. In Anime Works, Blum is Makoto Shishio, and most of the voices to me just work. Misou sounds like her age, and Kouru works, and I like Kenshin's voice best. In Bandai America's version, Misou sounded 30. I mean that was just wrong. In fact to woman who played Misou sounding 30 played the Scyth Guy who works for Shishio and dresses like a woman in the Anime Works dub. Voices do make a big difference. Oooh if it is one year at a time my brain might pop! And I really like Spike too. He's very complex inspite of the short story we're given about him.
