Well... Damn... Didn't see that coming. o.O Though I don't think Ichi would get along with Dante very well. XD Even if they both slay evil creatures that would fuck up humans, Dante is too... you know... Dante-ish and would probably make Ichi want to stab him a couple hundered times.
If that thing is what Devil May Cry would have been as a "Western Game" then it has justified on every level why, until games like Assassin's Creed and other similar to it in this generation, I generally don't like western gaming.
I've seen the new stuff on it, and am having a serious WTF moment that might last until the release date and then we can ignor that it exists and get on with our gaming lives.

western gaming is most surely the demise of videogaming. I always preferred eastern ones, in my opinion, ever since I had a ps1. sure, there are good games made from the west side as well, but as far as it goes, I'm more of a fan of eastern ones. that goes for dmc too. I mean, wtf is this new version??? as far as I've seen it, it's atrocious. I don't think it's gonna be any popular, nor will it age any good. hell, even dmc2 is better than that shit.
The scary part is that I think DmC stands a chance of tapping into an audience that reponds well to this kind of antiestablishment, sailor languaged, disgusting for the sake of disgusting, "American Pie"/"Austine Powers" style humored, political sataire trash that know nothing of the Original Devil May Cry but will see these images and ignore title and just jump all over it. I hope you're right but I don't have much faith in people, so I expect this thing to do well just to spite me.
And is it just me, or does a half British, half Japanese construct have NO business making American Political satire jokes, and paradying an American news network.
Well Devil May Cry seems to follow Jeudeo/Christian demonology, meaning that the demons are fallen angels. Angels are powerful enough to wipe-put and army of 10,000 in one stroke at the weakest so most demons should be that strong at least. Dante is decended from the most powerful of all of the fallen angels, Sparda I think being quoted to have slain a millon of them. That should be a good measuring stick. How Ichigo fits on this scale is something I'm unsure of. It almost feels like apples and oranges, but one might could figure something out.
Hard to say. He has split a mountain with one sword stroke, which hasn't been shown in Devil May Cry, but that may just be from a lack of reason to do so. I do bet Ichigo in Bankai could hold his own against the Savior statue in DMC4. It just feels like he could hold that much of his own. Especially with the new power he has now that his Soul Reaper abilities have come back.
This was my first post to hit 500 views and I was planning on doing an "Ichigo Sparda" fanart for it. Basically take Ichigo Kurosaki and make him look like a Son of Sparda because of this picture. Bleach gone Devil May Cry; ha ha ha, crossover idea!
Still evil though Ichigo had that hollow god mode and then just before that loose all powers stage just I still would see Dante as a Winner even Nero after all for one Dante literally rose up with a God dang sword throw his chest and within seconds he was fine and dandy .
